Kelsie Whittaker

Provisional Psychologist

Kelsie is a provisional psychologist who is passionate about supporting clients to reach their goals and increase insight into their patterns of behaviour. She has a warm, empathetic, and individualised therapeutic style, believing that every clients challenges, strengths, and goals are unique.

Kelsie draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, as well as a trauma-informed care approach. She is currently accepting referrals for clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults.

Kelsie has particular interests in working with individuals experiencing:

  • Anxiety Disorders

  • Life Stress and Transitions

  • Emotional Dysregulation

  • Borderline Personality Disorder

  • Depression

  • Adolescent Struggles (i.e. life transitions, school issues, relationships, self-harm, and suicidal ideation)

Kelsie is available for appointments at True North psychology on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

Fees to see our Provisional Psychologists are lower as medicare rebates are not available. Fee’s are $150 per 50 minute session or $180 per 50 minute out of hours session (before 9am, 5pm onwards, and weekends). See our ‘Fees and Rebates’ page for more information.
