With children, Jenny loves to use fun (including games) and creativity to share ideas about psychology. She believes this helps children to learn best and encourages them to develop a positive identity.
Culturally, Jenny was born in Australia to Chinese-Vietnamese parents. She has a strong interest in working with people from Asian backgrounds, including those who have been negatively affected by pressures to excel academically, difficulties with boundary setting, resentment, and navigating conflicts between Australian and Asian values. Jenny strives to provide psychological treatment that is adapted for Asian populations.
