Jenny is a clinical psychology registrar who works with children and adults. She is interested in structuring therapy to align with every person’s needs, ensuring the process is personalised, goal-oriented and highly effective.

In particular, Jenny feels it is important to consider cultural upbringing when working with clients. Having been raised in Sydney by Chinese-Vietnamese parents, Jenny draws on her lived experience to understand the unique values and perspectives and challenges that shape the experiences of first- and second-generation Australians. This might include:

  • Navigating family conflicts and boundaries

  • Managing feelings of pressure in personal or academic settings

  • Meeting family or cultural expectations

  • Differing values between generations

  • Addressing expectations around dating and relationships

  • Finding confidence in expressing personal thoughts and feelings

  • Developing independence while honouring family and cultural values as a young adult

Jenny is dedicated to creating a supportive space to explore vulnerable thoughts, feelings, and reactions. Jenny believes that working together collaboratively will help to achieve long lasting change.

Jenny can help people with:
