Amy is a dedicated and compassionate clinical psychology registrar committed to empowering individuals to navigate their mental health concerns. She utilises a tailored therapeutic approach grounded in trauma informed and evidence based practice. Amy provides an empathetic, safe and non-judgemental space for clients to explore, heal and ultimately lead a meaningful life.

Amy has worked with adolescents (15+) and adults across acute and community public hospital settings and in the education system.

PTSD: Support for processing traumatic experiences, reducing distressing symptoms and dissociation, and restoring a sense of safety and control using trauma informed therapy.

Personality Disorders: Support for understanding long-standing emotional and relational patterns, improving stability, and building healthier coping and relationships.

Mood Disorders (including Depression and Bipolar): Support for managing mood fluctuations, and low motivation, and rebuilding stability, and daily functioning.

Anxiety: Support for reducing excessive worry, panic, overthinking, intrusive thoughts and compulsions while strengthening calm, and tolerance of uncertainty.

Grief and Loss: Assisting with processing bereavement and other significant losses while adjusting to life changes and honouring what has been lost.

Amy has a special interest in working with clients on culture-specific topics (particularly Asian Australian mental health) and the intersection of cultural factors, systemic factors, and mental health. She acknowledges the traditional owners of the Yugambeh land where she is currently practicing.
