Provisional Psychologist

Peta is a compassionate and client-centred psychologist who provides a warm, empathetic, and holistic approach to care.

Peta is available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays.

Peta is dedicated to creating a therapeutic space and relationship in which clients feel safe. Through collaboration, Peta works with clients to support them in exploring challenges and achieving their value-aligned goals. She understands the courage it takes to start the therapeutic journey and is here for each step of the way. 

 

Peta uses a range of evidence-based therapies based on what suits the client and their individual goals. These include:

​

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)

  • Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT)

 

Peta is currently accepting referrals for young people and adults (16+), supporting with concerns such as:

​

  • Anxiety: Working with clients to identify the triggers, physical and emotional effects of anxiety and develop effective coping strategies to support in daily life. 

​

  • Depression and Low Self-Esteem: Helping clients to explore the underlying causes of low mood and self-worth and cultivate greater self-compassion, confidence, and motivation. 

​

  • Relationship and Interpersonal Difficulties: Assisting clients with navigating interpersonal challenges and building skills for fostering deeper communication and connection. 

​

  • Emotional Dysregulation and Stress: Supporting clients to understand and manage overwhelming emotions and adopt healthy coping strategies to support daily functioning. 

​

  • Sleep Difficulties: Using a holistic approach, helping clients to restore healthy sleep patterns and have a renewed sense of energy. 

 

 

With Peta being available for therapy appointments on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays, she looks forward to supporting you along your therapeutic journey.

*Note - Peta is currently a Provisional Psychologist awaiting general registration with AHPRA. If you are interested in working with Peta, we are able to place you on her waitlist and expect to be booking appointments in January 2026.​
