Lyndon is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with more than 20 years’ experience working with adults. Lyndon likes to work with clients to formulate meaningful therapeutic goals and to collaboratively plan the best pathway to achieve those goals. Therapy with Lyndon invariably involves a balance of validation, fostering insight and skill-building. As Lyndon views the therapeutic relationship as pivotal to good therapy outcomes you can expect a high degree of compassion coupled with good humour.

 

Lyndon works with clients experiencing a range of issues including depression, anxiety, and stress, workplace difficulties, challenging life transitions, and family difficulties. He has areas of special interest including:

 

  • Clients from our LGBTQIA+ communities

  • Clients seeking EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)

  • Clients who experience suicidal thoughts, self-harming behaviour or who have been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder

 

 

Lyndon is also involved with the provision of comprehensive Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) along with his colleagues at DBTBrisbane
