Dr Lynne Heyes (MAPS)
Lynne is a clinical psychologist with over 10 years experience working in public health with adults in both the UK and Australia. Lynne has helped people experiencing a variety of issues including anxiety, depression and Bipolar Disorder.
Lynne also has expertise in helping clients to adjust to challenging life circumstances (such as the loss of a loved one) and also to helping clients with chronic physical health conditions. Lynne has a special interest in the area of trauma, burns, sexual health and infectious diseases.
Lynne draws from a number of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness based therapies and schema therapy and works with clients to develop a shared understanding of their difficulties in order to tailor therapy to best suit them.
Lynne also has a keen interest in supervision of other Psychologists. Lynne has completed a post graduate module in supervision and has supervised a number of psychologists in the public and private sectors.
Lynne sees adults and adolescents. She is currently available for after hours appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
