Emma McNulty
Clinical Psychologist ​
Emma is a Clinical Psychologist who has experience working with adults experiencing a range of difficulties, including depression, anxiety, emotion dysregulation, personality disorders, persistent pain, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She has a particular interest in the impacts of complex trauma and early life experiences, and in working with people to understand and address the patterns underlying their symptoms.
Emma values building a therapeutic relationship grounded in compassion and the fundamental assumption that we are all doing the best we can, and have untold capacity for growth. She draws from a range of therapeutic approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, trauma-informed therapies, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
